Sun & Woolpack

Set at the junction of Hertford Road and the Turkey Brook in the leafy suburb of Enfield, we worked on this traditional local’s pub alongside FDM. Blackdog kept the existing fabric of the pub, carefully updating it, for example reusing the beautiful existing fireplace, so as not to lose the history of the site. We installed a new back bar and refurbished the existing bar adding comfortable new bar stools. Patterned wallpaper and banquet seating set in the windows with copper top tables creates a cosy atmosphere and invites customers in. Outside we refreshed the traditional exterior keeping the iconic lanterns and adding a new pergola at the back creating additional space for drinking and dining.
