Secret Garden
Pub Garden
This was project number one in lockdown. Livelihood negotiated the use of a local schools playing fields, to create a new outdoor space for the community and raise money for the school, a win, win scenario. We started by enclosing the area with Heras fencing featuring a privet hedge graphic print covered in twinkle lights and swathed in army camouflage netting. The entrance was cut through the existing brickwork wall, fitting an eBay reclaimed wardrobe which guests enter into. Leading to an enclosed ramp built with scaffold poles and boards into the secret garden, where they can find a perfect place to take a furry friend and sit on picnic rugs and deckchairs relax and socialise with friends. In what was famous South Londoner Adele’s former school, this has now become a yearly event.
