Oak & Poppy

Working with the groups LA based design director, interpreting her design and vision for an all-day LA brasserie concept. We remodelled the façade creating a fully opening shop front on the busy Hampstead Street. Multiple controllable lighting options ensure the atmosphere moves from day to night, including feature wall lights which are custom made copies from a 1970s photo. The focal design point is a huge central artificial tree twinkling with lights, whilst behind it a retractable glass roof covers the main dining room. A marble topped, fluted timber bar sits atop parquet and terrazzo flooring alongside handmade freestanding banquets. Whilst in the basement the customer toilets are swathed in specially commissioned wallpaper, making for a more feminine, family friendly environment.
