Boathouse

In prime position on the Thames, the Boathouse is located within a conservation area. Blackdog carried out extensive improvements to the building, including installing a new kitchen, bar and bathrooms. We created specific zones for drinking and dining by introducing screens and mid height furniture which makes the seating areas feel cosier and more private, and gives the pub a proper bar area for the first time. Outside we used trellis dividers and large planters to create seating areas alongside the river. Festoon lighting creates a warm atmosphere at night.
