Beach Blanket Babylon Beach Club

A stone’s throw from the site of the Sitges Film Festival. Our brief was to design an environmentally sustainable yearly pop-up beach club which would leave no trace on the pristine sands at the end of the season. We used reclaimed timber and bamboo to create a platform and walkway leading down to the sea edge to allow accessibility to all. The open-air bar, café, restaurant and club, with shade for the hottest Spanish days and a genuine dawn to dusk vibe, the entirety can be packed up at the end of the summer and stored for next year, living up to its sustainable credentials.
