Amy
Amy has had a varied career in both architectural and design firms, as well as valuable experience during travel in Australasia. Working within diverse disciplines such as residential design, lighting design, planning, joinery detailing, workplace design and hotels, ultimately led to a passion for hospitality design.
Creating beautiful and uplifting spaces for people to relax and socialise in has proved the perfect fit for Amy. She is fascinated with how people occupy buildings, and how our surroundings can affect our mindset.
Her lifelong love of Art and Design lies at the heart of her work, and she is inspired by lighting design, use of vibrant colour and pattern, and the textures of natural materials.
Amy is a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher, loves to travel, visit art galleries, walk in wild landscapes, collect vintage crockery, and read like she
breathes (i.e. non-stop). One day Amy hopes to write and illustrate a children’s book.

She is now keen to put all that she’s learnt into action following her own creative intuition to put her stamp on Blackdog projects.
When she’s not working Becca indulges her passion for collecting vintage clothes, watching Harry Potter and visiting Brighton to catch up with friends.
Millie
Having studied at the University of Edinburgh achieving a BA with Honours in Interior Design, Millie is enjoying her first taste of the industry at Blackdog. As well as providing the backdrop to her education, Auld Reekie inspired Millie’s love of the hospitality sector, having loved the city’s variety of architecture in the old and new town as much as the nightlife.
Millie grew up around design, her father owned a design and build practice and her favourite outings with him were site visits, where she was intrigued by the transformations that took place from the start of a project through to the end result. Millie is motivated by her desire to create fun spaces that are inclusive to all.
Her main hobby is music, enjoying listening all types, from Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers to DJs like Peggy Gou and Sonny Fodera. She loves how music is so universal and has the ability to bring people together.
